Giving attention to your mental wellness is an investment in your future, one which I, in partnership with you, will work very hard to ensure it is a valuable experience for you and your family. Please read this important information and feel free to reach out with other questions so that you may make an informed financial decision.

    • We do not directly participate with “in-network” insurance companies, please contact us to discuss fees.
    • We can occasionally offer financial hardship discounts on a limited basis for specialized treatment for Pediatric OCD, pediatric anxiety and pediatric EMDR in an effort to provide increased access to quality mental health care at reduced price points for children. These spots are limited both in number and in duration.

Most people want to know: Can I use my insurance?

    Out of Network:

I am “Out of Network” with all insurance plans. What this means:

Clients pay for services at the time of service. For some insurance companies, (such as BCBS, MVP, and Aetna, Cigna, to name a few), I can submit the claim electronically as a courtesy at no additional cost to the client. This allows for faster and more accurate processing of your claim. Ask if I can do the same for your insurance company!

Alternatively, I can provide a “Superbill” with all the necessary information on it and you send it to your insurance company for reimbursement, usually accompanied by a brief form.

If you have out-of-network benefits you can check to see if my services will be reimbursed under your plan.

Once you’ve received the pricing grid from us, you’ll want to ask your insurance company:

“What are my mental/behavioral health outpatient office visit benefits?”

“What is the allowed amount for these CPT Codes: 90791, 90837, 90834, 90832”

“How does the allowed amount differ from the billed amount?”

“Will I have a deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance due? If yes, is that different than what I am used to paying with participating (In-Network) providers?”

Sarah Linder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of NY. This licensure allows LCSW’s to diagnose and treat mental health conditions. NY has phased the “R Privilege” out as of 1/1/23 and it is no longer required under Insurance Law for your LCSW provider to be reimbursable by your insurance company (though other exclusions may apply based on policy). You may check https://www.op.nysed.gov/verification-search to find all eligible LCSWs.

    Payment

Payment is due at the time of services. We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards through a PCI Compliant platform. Please email [email protected] for more information or submit a request form for services. You will receive a Financial Informed Consent clearly outlining all costs so there are no surprises!

    Cancellation Policy

Your session block of time has been reserved especially for you and can be anywhere from 30-90 minutes in length. Often with late cancellations we cannot fill that time slot on time to make up for the lost revenue. Late cancellation or no-show feels will apply to all clients, please read financial informed consent packet for more information.

We try to be fair and flexible with clients when there are acute illnesses and severe and sudden weather related issues barring you from attending/cancelling your appointment on time, however we appreciate as much notice as possible and offer telehealth sessions as an alternative option.

    Any Other Questions
